Yeah, that makes sense! I think that the more time that she spends with Eppie, the more she would probably realize that she's not a terrible person and that she genuinely wants to help the students at Phalanx. As time goes on, depending on how it ends up going through threads, I would like for these two to maybe ultimately develop some kind of mutual understanding/friendship of sorts. I could see Aisling confiding in her from time to time! <3
I could definitely see them forming something like that. Aisling did just basically get out of the place that Eppie is interested in investigating, so there could be room there down the road. But I can see the two of them having a rocky/distant start and going from there! Eppie would be a pretty good rock for Aisling to moor herself to when things get hard. Ladies helping ladies, being pals; I could see it!
I think they could definitely be work buddies. They both seem to want to help the kids, but I'm not sure that, at the core of their personalities, they would really get along beyond that. But I absolutely love surprise friendships!
Will adores challenges and nice-looking women. I also just adore times when he can be put in his place, which I feel like Lea could do. They're both from prominent families and can run in the same circles outside of work.
I think that there might be something here. They kind of exist on two opposite ends of the spectrum in almost every regard yet still have some similarities. Monday has only begun to take his first steps as an educator and his hearts not really in it. He works at a fancy school that harbors a lot of mixed emotions for him and generally doesn't feel like he fits in with the socialites he works with or teaches. He also tends to bury his emotions beneath his good cheer. I can definitely see Monday looking to Eppie as a sort of mentor in mentoring. They can do the coffee thing and talk about how they're such good people in a city full of jerk-butts.
I remember talking about the two getting off on the wrong foot because of Monday's place of work and I'd absolutely love to have the croc flounder at trying to prove he's not some stuck-up snob. Have you ever seen a giant gator man blush and stammer? If, not this is the perfect avenue to see such a sight.
Friends with a bit of stumbling in the beginning? Monday can promise delicious baked goods.
She's a bad lady and Monday's a good boy. I don't know if he's ever hated anyone but he would certainly express strong disappointment at many of her traits and her career path of "head bitch in charge". Of course, he wouldn't know any of this upon first meeting and would treat her like he treats everyone. Monday is pretty involved with the culinary scene and by extension the nightlife of NOLA so it's entirely possible for the two to happen across each other there.
His kill'em with kindness mentality is starkly different from her own.
Something just because I wanna plot with everyone and everything?
The forsaken child of a wealthy socialite Monday wouldn't really put much stock in Will's social status or the depth of his pockets. He'd be much more drawn to the man's desire to do good in the world running, parallel with his own desires. Monday also knows how difficult it is to crawl out from under his father's shadow and attempt to make something of his own. Will's endeavors have gone much better than Monday's but rather than be a jealous little bitch he'd most likely find the man inspiring. Not to the point of worship, simple having a healthy amount of respect for Will's drive. Even if Will wanted to bankroll Monday's dream he'd be turned down so often that it'd probably become a running joke or possibly a point of contention? Monday can be a proud little shit when it comes to his food.
On another note, both of them grew up in the upper crust of NOLA society so it's possible that they knew each other previously. Of course, Monday was an awkward little chunky monkey and probably would have just sat in the corner of any benefit and played on his gameboy. I'm perfectly okay with the two of them having no pre-existing knowledge of each other before they initiate this sitcom level friendship.
If Will's Robin Hood then Monday is definitely "Little" John~
Awkward double dates, movie nights, lifting together, Monday making Will try some crazy new dish, Will making Monday cater an event?! I'm getting way too hyped for this.
They really are pretty good opposites; I can dig it. I really don't know how they could meet, but were it at a place where Eppie knew he was from Primrose, she would automatically be that sort of icy-warm people get when they want a convo to end. But Monday would surprise her and make her feel like two feet tall for judging him, lbr; it would be awkward af and I love it already.. They're both emotion-bury-ers so that would be interesting down the road for them to talk about. Start talking about grading, might end up bitching about everything else. Could be very fun to see.
Love it. Eppie can promise to eat all the baked goods.
Charlotte would be curious about Monday, where they to ever meet. She would have no idea what to do with his kindness at their first meeting; most people clock that's something is off with her from ten feet back. It is conceivable that they may meet in a club or restaurant or event that Monday could cater or something. The specifics are hazy and already bombastic, but they could be fun to put in a bag and shake up.
Aw shit I didn't really even think about them bonding over fathers with long shadows, but you're exactly right. Even though Monday's endeavors have failed, Will would respect the shit out of him for trying and being more successful at shedding his family skin. Their missions in life are similar, but I can definitely see Monday calling Will out on things as they navigate the Swole Bro Life. I love the idea of it being both a running joke and some contention. Will has gotten too used to throwing money at problems; he needs a croc to sit on him and tell him what's what.
Will also grew up a chunky monkey, too, so it's fate. I think they would have been separate enough that they could have been at the same stuff and never even noticed each other. Will had a lot going on as a kid, so I imagine he was pretty secluded into his family then. They can look back and notice that their broship was destiny all along, though.
Sammmmmme and I love all of those. There are so many possibilities for how all of this can go straight hilarious, and I love it.
Charlotte would straight up be nightmare fuel for Sophie, the one thing that she treasures is her memories and the knowledge that Charlie could do away with that easily honestly terrifies her. She would also hate her and actively avoid her, and might even ditch out on sessions similarly to Lili, but I'm sure that she's just mischievous enough to be brought in to have her mind wiped of certain things that she isn't supposed to see >.>
That's more than fair, but I think Charlotte would also be wary of Sophie, too. Sophie's power packs a bang, and as someone who already thinks the world is too loud anyway, Charlie would do her best to avoid seeing Sophie when not accompanied by blockers or orderlies. All that would just make her relish the idea of getting the upper hand in a memory wipe session all the nicer. Even during pill-prescribing/checking sessions, Charlie would be a little insufferable. I wouldn't blame Sophie for trying to ditch check-ins. The idea of the lunch bunch might just cause Charlie dread in general (several powerful, slightly unhinged young adults at one table is enough to make her sweat), so knowing Sophie is a part of that would add another layer to the whole thing.
Hey hey. If you're interested in even more plots, please let me know! You can reply here or shoot me a PM (Preference). There's no pressure, if you're rather full, I get it and wont be offended! I am happy to start threads or have one started. Whatever works best for you.
@noah is my only character, and he's an illusion-gifted math teacher at Phalanx; hails from some money and a gifted family, but rather finds it trite and conflicting. Loves vices and making mistakes - and rarely says no - to anything.
@noah and @euphemia They could grade papers together and talk about how much it sucks and gossip about the students? Or they could be on a mission to hunt rats that have infested part of the house? IDK D:
@noah and Guillaume H. Charbonneau Perhaps Noah goes house hunting, and through the use of powers and general inebriation, begin to mess with each other? I'm so bad at coming up with ideas, kill me D:
[/i] like to stick to some more relaxed locations, too. He fell in love with New Orleans for its charm, not its clubs, and that's something that I feel like I need to revisit with him a bit XD But the point of saying that is that I think he and Eppie could be those chill kinda friends that meet somewhere for coffee on a weekend and just end up chatting about everything. If you feel like she's that kind of person, of course ♥[/ul]
[/i] like to go out and have a good time. These two also went to school together and were only like two years apart, so it's possible that they were friends that are now reconnecting? Let me know what you think ♥[/ul]
She would try her best never to let them figure it out but definitely wary of them! I could def see the two of them butt heads a lot. Poor Charlie ain't used to that.
Eppie is definitely more of a coffeeshop girl than a nightclub girl. She might enjoy going out out every once in a while, but the girl would live in a nice, quiet library if she could. The two could def bond over coffee and chilling before teaming up to solve old mysteries together. Their powers seem to complement each other's; where one is kinda weaker, the other is stronger. They could def try to swap tips to keep from going crazy in the world tbh.
Will went to regular school, but his family would have definitely rubbed elbows with Primrose people. The two could have met at some point. I imagine Will also attends Primrose events for publicity, networking, etc. So they can def meet each other out and in professional settings! Will knows how to have fun, but he's pretty chill on the inside. He and Josh would definitely get along!
Ro definitely needs some warm and fuzzy in her life. They have similar traumas, in some ways, both are a little closed off. These two (and Monday) might be the only non-megalomaniacs in all of Primrose, so hanging out with each other would be a breath of fresh air. Ro loves little gestures and has a very mother-hen-like love language, so these two can find a lot of common ground. She'll do her best to save him from Nerys but no guarantees.
Yesss I’m so here for it! Josh needs more personal connections tbh, and I feel like Eppie would be a good force in his life >.> So basically yes, I am down for it ♥
You know, I feel like I knew that but all common sense kinda goes out the window with plotting when tired, my bad >.> BUT I do agree that they could meet each other in a professional setting, maybe they go from meeting in a professional setting to seeing each other out and about and they have that moment that’s like “hey, you’re pretty chill!” moment?
I 110% need them to have a thread asap so if you’re interested I can get started on that >.> Maybe he finds her when she’s baking cookies and they have a great moment of baking disasters?
