Lyric & Orion “I don’t want to see you again, Lyric, just get the hell out of here!”
Lyric wiggled into the dark dress, admiring the deep slit between her breasts that practically went to her belly button. Chances were that this would be the last PrimProm that Orion would be going to, and she wanted to give him a real show during it. She fixed her hair, trying to keep from feeling nervous. It was just Orion. Her Orion. She had met him on one of her first days at Primrose. He had been incredibly charming, handsome, and she wanted to keep him for her own. They would be with other people, sure, but at the end of it all they always seemed to know how to come back to each other. It was something that she didn't think would be possible to maintain as long as they had, but they did. The only thing that threw them off was Wren.
Wren.
Lyric put on a bracelet that her father bought to purchase her love on her wrist and thought about the blonde siren who sought after her, who chased after her, and then ignored her. She wasn't going to make an excuse for what she did in that alleyway, but she knew that it would have been a lot less tempting if she and Wren had the solid relationship she thought they did. Lyric slipped on her heels and walked to where she and Orion agreed to meet.
Assuming he wasn't off being a gym rat or working on an assignment. She also knew that for every minute he left her waiting in the dress she picked for him, was another minute she was going to entertain the stares and longing glances from anyone who passed her by. She tucked her scarlet hair behind her ear and watched the passing students and faculty while clutching her small matching purse.
Orion.
She still couldn't believe some days that they were dating. That they were together and seemed to actually be making things work between them. She was- happy. Happy that they were able to make this happen, happy that they were together and figuring things out. Lyric let out a deep breath and turned her attention back to the passing crowds of gowns and couples waiting for her bear to show up.

[attr="class","box2"]Orion was lost in thought as his hands worked on tightening his tie. His hazel eyes peering back at himself through the mirror. His face blank as he wondered of what his future might hold. This would be his final year at Primrose and his last prom as a student. He found these thoughts sobering. He spent most of his years at the school as a typical frat boy, living for the chase and having a hard time finding a balance between classes and parties. His first few years he found himself almost thrown out for neglecting his obligations
He was now mature enough to realize what it was that saved his ass so many times before and helped him get on a better track. His red hair Goddess that was his date for tonight. She put up with his selfish nature but was smart enough to make him see the bigger picture at the end of the day.
He was content with his life, until that blonde with boobs came along and took away his lifeline. The stupid saying was all too true “you don’t realize a good thing until it is gone.” He somehow managed to get Lyric back but he ruined her relationship at the same time. They haven’t sat down to talk about everything since it has happened, they went back to how they were but even that felt off to him now. So now here he was, staring at himself in the mirror and wondering what it is that he wants in his life.
He grabbed his suit jacket and a clear box that contained the corsage he ordered for his date. He made his way out the door, hurrying to meet up with Lyric after he had noticed how much time as passed.
When he got close enough to spot her in the crowd, he stopped to admire her. She was all he could see in the sea of faces and that caused a smile to stretch on his lips. With each step towards her he thought of every reason he loved her. Her attitude. Her passion. Her insecurities. Her beauty. Her pain. Her love. Her smile. Her pout. He loved the good and bad. He stood before her, his mind finally stopped worrying about the future and focused on his present, his time with her.
“You are beautiful.” He spoke just loud enough and gave her a smirk that only came out for her. His eyes turning down to the box he was carrying under his arm. “This isn’t one of those tacky corsages, I had it custom made.” He spoke while opening the box, pulling out an intricate arm band that held some beautifully placed roses. When placed correctly, it would stop just below the elbow. “Too much?” he asked, holding it out to help place it for her.
