full name ♦ Honey Beatrice Wilson nicknames ♦ Honeybee age ♦ twenty-four birthday ♦ May 22, 1994 occupation ♦ Phalanx House Recruiter; Freelance self-defense instructor school ♦ Home-schooled species ♦ human ability/power ♦ Weather Manipulation how the ability works ♦ Honey is able to manipulate the weather. Honey has had a tumultuous relationship with her powers always somewhere between loving them one day and hating them the next. She wields her power best by channeling her emotions into them so when she feels positive them Honey is able to use her powers with ease. She can call on thunderstorms and weaponize the lightning strikes. She can also summon a tornado but the thunderstorm must be present first and before that rain. This applies to other weather situations as well, she can summon a blizzard but snow must come first.
When honey is feeling any type of negative emotion be it forefront or subconscious, use of her powers is highly ill-advised. Summoning any sort of weather situation is cause for disaster as honey cannot control them after they have been summoned. So a simple snowstorm can elevate into a blizzard and rage on for weeks until Honey is either calmed or incapacitated. All the while draining her of energy and her body's resources which can prove deadly for Honey.
With great powers come great repercussions, Honey is incapable of feeling the outside temperature though her body still reacts to the effects. If she were to go outside in the middle of August bundled tightly in sweaters and scarves though she would not feel herself heating she would surely have a stroke. Honey's powers also take quite the toll on her body when used causing first headaches, then nose bleeds when she elevates past storms and into natural disasters. She can hold the natural disasters for as long as twenty minutes before she must stop or faint. You can tell when Honey is using her powers as her eyes take on a heightened hue of her hazel and appear a ghastly green. Her fingers also twitch and flicker like lightning bugs.

the appearance
face claim ♦ Kierra Please height and weight ♦ 5'6 | 125lbs identifying features ♦ A septum piercing, Several ear piercings, and a tattoo on her right shoulder overall appearance ♦ Honey is a woman of average height with a curvy build. Her freckle dotted face and beaming smile are enough to make anyone feel at ease. Her warm hazel eyes and dorky round glasses are enough to make her seem sweet and unassuming. Honey wears her curly hair in some form of twist out style or as an afro she decorates with flowers. Honey dresses in whatever she finds comfortable but her favorite thing to wrap up in is a cozy sweater and leggings if the weather allows it. When she teaches her self-defense classes, Honey wears form-fitting comfortable clothing that allows her to move easily.
the personality
likes ♦ sweets | techno music | photography | sweaters dislikes ♦ Oranges | authority | fish | guns strengths ♦ Strong-willed & Charming weaknesses ♦ Hotheaded & Prideful dreams ♦ To have a family fear ♦ Loneliness overall personality ♦ Honey is always aware of what she wants and she makes sure she gets it. Her silver tongue allows her to do as much anyways. She normally doesn't have trouble making friends at all unless they're cops of course. Honey is usually quite laid back and prefers quality time with a few people through every once in a blue moon she'll attend a rave or music festival if she can. Honey loves to be a part of a group and feels lost without one.
Honey has a quick temper which got her in a lot of trouble as a teenager and still does now but not nearly as much as it used to. She's learned ways to cope with her anger using the internet but refuses to go seek professional help. This is partially to blame on her upbringing but mostly it's her pride that's in the way. Honey is as stubborn as a mule and as prideful as a sinner. Getting Honey to do anything that you haven't convinced her is her own idea is a lost cause.
the history
father ♦ Richard Henry Wilson, 50, Psychiatrist mother ♦ Noelle Whitney Wilson, 42, House Wife siblings ♦ Josiah Carter Wilson, 13, Josie May Wilson, 17, High school student important people ♦ n/a hometown ♦ New Orleans, Louisianna overall history ♦ Noelle Whitney Jackson was a beauty pageant queen who had her eyes set on gold. Her life was on the straight and narrow until she got in too deep with Jonathan. Jonathan Rickard was nothing but trouble in his high school days and well the cliche became the truth when his laid eyes upon Noelle for the first time. The pastor's little angel and the bad boy, the two got along like a match and flame. Their love burned so bright but fizzled so quickly and it all began with her.
When Honey was born Jonathan had already ditched Louisianna leaving Noelle a single mother of only eighteen to fend for herself. She was disgraced by her family and all alone. Her only achievement was that she finished high school. Honey's earliest memories were of her mother drinking heavily and telling Honey never to run off with a sweet-talking man, or any man for that matter. Her mom would leave for an hour or two every day to see a "shrink" as Noelle called it. Honey thought nothing of it, she was only happy her mom stopped drinking so much. Until the so-called shrink moved in that is and on Honey's first day of first grade, her momma announced she was having another baby. It was bittersweet, Honey was glad to have a sibling but why didn't they seem proud of the reading awards she'd brought home? Honey buried those feelings.
On April 28th Josie May Wilson was born. Honey thought she was the cutest thing on the planet. Whenever momma would allow it Honey was by that little baby's side reading to her, playing games with her, feeding her. Josie and Honey became inseparable. Noelle and Richard married a few years after Josie was born and for a while, they were a big happy family. Until the arguments started, late at night Honey would hear her parents scream at each other and it certainly wasn't hard to with the thin walls of their house. Their arguments were about a lot of things: bills, money, what who wore to PTA and Richard why were you staring' but one central point it came back to was Honey, the bastard child. Noelle would be the perfect woman in Richard's eyes if she had never given birth to Honey. She'd have been an established woman with good faith, a good reputation, and a better education. Noelle thought these things of herself already but with the confirmation of her husband those feelings intensified and in turn she let them loose on the cause of all her problems.
Honey was shunned. She didn't get to interact with Josie May anymore and was only allowed out for school and out for appearances with her family. Honey buried her feelings, ' it's for the best' she told herself. Every time she was out though she couldn't help but get into trouble. She fought often at school and didn't care much what anybody had to say to her. At age 13 her baby brother was born. They named him Josiah Carter. Upon returning home from the hospital Honey went to go see the youngest member of her family. Only to be halted by her step-father. She just called him Richard as he was no father figure to her. Richard sneered at Honey his ugly beady eyes showing all of the disgust he didn't dare voice.
" You best not come near him, girl," His lips curled into an ugly snarl. Honey stood before him, defiant.
"You're barely blood Richard maybe you shouldn't be near him." She matched his tone, her eyes spurring a challenge and her nostrils flared in anger. A malicious glint set Richards dark brown eyes alight. He snorted and chuckled but it sounded far from happy.
"Let's see what your mother has to say then little girl." He opened the bedroom door to reveal mother and newborn child laid up in bed. The radio played in the background announcing the weather. Warm and sunny all week a stuffy sounding newsman proclaimed. Honey padded into the room slowly with awe in her eyes. She could only see his mocha fingers curled around his mother's finger and Noelle looked down at him as though he were the world. When she addressed her husband and daughter those eyes turned cold when they fell upon the latter.
"What is she doing in her Richard?" Her mother's voice sounded cold and distant. The woman looking upon the baby in her arms and this one who looked at her frizzy-haired child with such disdain had to be two different people. That's what honey thought anyways.
"I want to see my little brother momma," Honey begged she stuck out her lip and batted her lashes. It used to work when she was little and wanted candy but Noelle could only feel pure disgust when looking at her daughter.
"I don't rightly care you little gnat,' she sneered "now get out of my room and leave me be. I don't want to see you near my baby boy not now, not ever."
Honey stood in the doorway stunned. She wanted to bury the feelings. She wanted to so bad. She wanted to so very bad but, she couldn't. The rage built from the pit of her stomach up into her mouth and it was bitter like acid. The weather shifted suddenly granting validation to her mood. Thunder clapped loud and mighty. Lightning accompanied by a boom of its own shook the house and all its inhabitants to its core. Josiah wailed and Josie scream but Honey, she roared in anguish. The hot tears felt like nothing as they dripped down her face. As she cried the rain came loud and fighting to be heard against her wails. Honey didn't even know what she was screaming but she knew she lived for the fear in her mother's eyes when she spoke. The storm boomed and shook their house. The wind slapped the rain against the window and the thunder clapped to send the lightning. It was an orchestra of chaos and as the lightning damaged the power cords outside of their home the curtains fell and so did Honey. Into oblivion, she slumped with tearstained cheeks and a bloody nose.
When she awoke Honey was on the side of the road in a place she didn't recognize. She had the clothes on her back and that was it. Honey wandered until she was discovered by a recruiter for the Phalanx house. She left her old life behind and hasn't spoken of it since. Honey now recruits for the Phalanx house and does freelance self-defense classes when she has the time.
