Beatrice dressed for a night at The Gorgon's Head, and was met with the unwanted and what she thought was the long exorcized voice of her old college professor. The one in Oxford who she thought was the love of her life. The one who fucked all of his PhD students and the one who tried to keep her in England. He had planned (and thought was a perfectly fine idea) to have all of the students he was manipulating and fucking live together so they were all available for him as needed. She could remember how he would say that men loved scarves as she wrapped one around her neck. She heard his voice in her ear and practically felt her late lunch make a triumphant return. She unwrapped the scarf and tossed it into the deepest part of her closet.
She wanted to push Oxford and that man out of her mind. She didn't even want to dignify him with his name. She pulled on a red dress that hugged her frame and, as she ran her hands over her front, it showed off her larger assets a little better than she might have been comfortable showing off. She wanted to push The Professor from her thoughts, and the best way she knew how to do that was by reminding herself that she got away from him. Guillaume seemed like a perfectly nice man and she was hoping to get to know him a little bit. Get a few drinks, talk. She had been working at Primrose for years and she was still struggling with getting out from her lab and doing things with herself. She would spend time with her sisters, or even Nerys if she was feeling masochistic.
Bea slipped on a dark heel and did another check in the mirror. She locked the door of her phone and made her way down the short roads to the Gorgon's Head. The supernatural bar had been opened for at least a year and she was just getting down the very short roads to get there. She passed through the check points with ease, shifters had an easier time proving what they were able to do assuming there was a place to change back into their clothes. She knew that there were some shifters, her sister Joey included, who preferred a more natural form for the same reason. She was part of the civilized society that understood running around naked was not really an option for everyone. Plus, if she tried to run around naked there was a good chance she was going to knock herself out one day. It really was just a safety risk.
She took a seat at the bar, waiting for Guillaume to join her. She ordered a whisky neat and crossed over ankle over the other. Southern belle training at it's finest. Wearing low cut dresses and waiting for men nearly six years her junior in a bar was not exactly in any debutant manual, but she couldn't name a single one who wouldn't be in her position if they could. The pictures were very flattering and he seemed like a charming man. She was excited to get to know him and to spend more time out and getting to know people.
